At graze, we’re always looking for ways to minimise our impact on the environment. For the past four years we’ve been working hard with our suppliers to reduce our use of palm oil. We’ve asked our suppliers to avoid palm oil completely wherever possible and are looking for alternative ingredients to use in recipes where palm oil is currently needed.
Our menu of snacks is very large, which means we still have some way to go before we’re completely palm oil-free. Making sure the taste, quality and texture of each recipe are tip top even without palm oil is a painstaking process, but one we’re all passionately committed to.
So, where we haven’t been able to find an alternative yet, we’ve worked closely with our suppliers to make sure we only use palm oil certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
RSPO is a not-for-profit organisation, combining stakeholders from within the palm oil industry to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. For details about our membership and certification, as well as more information on RSPO itself, please visit the RSPO website here.
